Toepassingen	N,N,N'',N''-Tetramethyl-1,6-hexaandiamine wordt gebruikt bij de synthese van fluoreenhoudend poly(aryleenethersulfon) als anionenuitwisselingsmembranen voor alkalische brandstofcellen.
Voorbereiding	N,N,N',N'-Tetramethyl-1,6-hexaandiamine kan worden gemaakt uit adipodinitril en dimethylamine of uit 1,6- hexaandiamine en formaldehyde.

Oplosbaarheid in organische stoffen	Het amine is oneindig mengbaar met water, methanol, aceton, ether en benzeen, maar onoplosbaar in heptaan.
