| Gebruik | 1,3-Cyclohexaandion wordt gebruikt in organische synthese en farmaceutische tussenproducten. Het is het tussenproduct van de herbiciden sulcotrione en nitrosulfonone. Het is ook een nitisinone-tussenproduct. |
| Gebruik | 1,3-Cyclohexaandion kan worden gebruikt als bouwsteen bij de synthese van: 9-substitueerde 1,8-dioxo-xanthenen door te reageren met ongeactiveerde aldehyden via aldolcondensatie/Michael-additiereactie. [(1,2,3-triazool-4-yl)methoxy-fenyl]-2H-indazol[2,1-b]ftalazine-trionderivaten door behandeling met ftalhydrazide, aromatische propargyloxyaldehyden en aziden via een condensatiereactie met vier componenten. Het kan ook worden gebruikt om 2-gesubstitueerde adducten te bereiden, die belangrijke tussenproducten zijn voor de synthese van ?-enaminonen, polyhydrochinolinederivaten, 1,8-dioxo-dodecahydroxanthenen, spirocyclopentanolen, oxathiolen en triquinanen. |
