1-Gebruik en synthese van methylpiperazine

Toepassingen	1-Methylpiperazine wordt gebruikt bij de bereiding van 2-(4-Methyl-1-piperazinylmethyl)acrylofenon (MPMAP)
Toepassingen	1-Methylpiperazine wordt gebruikt bij de bereiding van 2-(4-methyl-1-piperazinylmethyl)acrylofenon. Het is betrokken bij de bereiding van 1-(4-methoxyfenyl)-4-methylpiperazine door reactie met 1-chloor-4-methoxybenzeen. Het fungeert als tussenproduct bij de synthese van actieve farmaceutische ingrediënten zoals ofloxacine, rifampicine, clozapine, sildenafil, trifluoperazine en zopiclon. Verder wordt het gebruikt als nabootsingssjabloon bij de bereiding van moleculair bedrukte microsferen. Daarnaast wordt het gebruikt bij het genereren van een difunctionele sterke stationaire fase met anionenuitwisseling uit een 1,4-diazacyclohexaanderivaat.

Veiligheidsprofiel	Vergif via intraperitoneale route. Matig giftig bij inademing, inslikken en contact met de huid. Een ernstige huid- en oogirriterende stof.
